My sister Libby had asked me to paint a pear for her good friend, Ruth. They live in Oakura, New Zealand and so I included their local volcano, Mt. Egmont. Libby sent me the photo of Ruth with her gift.
What a lovely surprise to see this on here. It is the most gorgeous pear (I love the shape and imagery of a pear...) and the composition has lots of meaning and much love added. Thank you to Libby and Annabelle!
