Ruth's Pear

My sister Libby had asked me to paint a pear for her good friend, Ruth. They live in Oakura, New Zealand and so I included their local volcano, Mt. Egmont. Libby sent me the photo of Ruth with her gift.

To support the local production of the Vagina Monologues, I curated an art show. These two pieces were my contributions.

Live out the String

My artist friend Pia Reilly and I created purple tutus decorated with the words from Marc Cohn's song "Live out the String" . The piece was displayed at the Wearable Art Extravaganza in February 2008.
